I am the Lead Pastor, Xf. Nyaj Thao. God has blessed my walk of faith in 2020 with my beautiful wife, Julie Her Thao, who continues to be a mammoth of a supporter for my faith, my family, and the ministry that God has called me to. God has also been gracious to us in sovereignly providing and blessing us with our two sons, Elisha and his younger brother, Amias, who we continue to pray, may be as beautiful to God as Moses was, to be used by God, but especially to be called according to God’s timing to receive the righteousness and holiness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Scripture has provided for us many evidence and qualities of the church of Christ being like that of a family. Ephesians 5:22-33 teaches that the union between the husband and wife reflects the relationship between Christ and the church. In addition, Colossians 3:20, 21 teaches how the obedience of our children reflects the obedience of Christ to the Father as He obeys the Father to the point of death, by laying down His life as a sacrifice on the Cross. Furthermore, Romans 12:10-13 also prescribes for the church to love one another with brotherly affection, a love like that of a family.
